Keyboard shortcuts

A quick reference of keyboard shortcuts used throughout this workshop and in Kiro.

macOS

• Cmd + Space — Open Spotlight Search
• Cmd + C — Copy
• Cmd + V — Paste

Terminal

• Enter — Run command
• Ctrl + C — Cancel/stop a running command
• ↑ / ↓ — Recall previous/next command

Kiro (General)

• Cmd + O — Open Folder
• Cmd + S — Save file
• Cmd + Z — Undo
• Cmd + Shift + Z — Redo
• Ctrl + ` — Toggle Terminal panel

Kiro (Navigation & Search)

• Cmd + P — Quick Open (find file by name)
• Cmd + Shift + P — Command Palette
• Cmd + B — Toggle sidebar
• Cmd + Shift + F — Search across files
• Cmd + Shift + E — Focus file explorer

Kiro (Editing)

• Cmd + X — Cut line (no selection needed)
• Cmd + D — Select next occurrence
• Cmd + / — Toggle comment
• Option + ↑ / ↓ — Move line up/down
• Option + Shift + ↑ / ↓ — Copy line up/down

Kiro (AI Chat)

• Enter — Send prompt
• Cmd + I — Open inline chat
