What you will learn

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Open and use the macOS Terminal with confidence
  • Install developer tools using Homebrew
  • Clone a project from GitHub and run it locally
  • Use Amazon Kiro to modify a real admin dashboard UI with plain-English prompts
  • Understand the basics of "vibe coding" — prototyping software by describing what you want

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Mac (macOS Sonoma or newer recommended)
  • A reliable internet connection
  • About 90 minutes of uninterrupted time

That's it. You do not need to know how to code, and you do not need to install anything in advance — the workshop walks you through every step.

No coding experience needed!

This workshop is designed specifically for UX designers with zero programming background. Every command is explained, every step has screenshots or descriptions, and there are no assumptions about prior knowledge.
